Elle International is pleased to announce that it is the recipient of the 2023 Empire Partner Foundation Tech Award in Leadership and Community Building.
“I remember sitting across from Empire Partner Foundation founder, Nathan, back in 2017 when Elle Cup was still in its infancy. I was 23 with a passion, a vision, and a product. I was embarking on a mission to destigmatise menstrual health and end period poverty. However, the cause quickly evolved to include women’s health as a part of its core focus. To share a stage 7 years later with some of the most impactful organisations and individuals in South Africa was certainly unexpected. I was anonymously nominated for the Leadership and Community Builder award, recognizing my contributions to women’s health, and creating sustainable social impact. This came as a massive surprise to me. However, it’s just the beginning of what’s to come for revolutionising women’s health in Africa through the work Elle is doing.”
